About

Keepers Knitwear is a Belgian label dedicated to local craftsmanship, heirloom textiles and contemporary design.
In 2020, Keepers Knitwear began with a simple desire: as a young mother, I wanted to create sustainable, heirloom-quality garments for babies — knits inspired by vintage aesthetics with a contemporary edge, locally handmade to last.

Rooted in my lifelong passion for knitting and crochet, my designs reflect the heritage textile techniques I first learned from my mother and later refined during my fashion and knitting design studies in Brussels.

What started as a line of baby knits has grown into a collection for adults over the years, featuring luxuriously soft sweaters an slipovers, limited-edition kimonos, and accessories for the whole family, designed to be cherished across seasons and generations.

I craft most pieces myself in my atelier in Belgium, by hand or on a manual knitting machine, using deadstock and responsibly sourced yarns. For some limited edition collections, I collaborate with a Belgian knitwear mill, ensuring the same level of quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Most pieces are made to order, allowing me to operate a zero stock model and step away from the traditional cycle of seasonal collections. This approach helps me avoid overproduction, respond directly to demand, and create only what is truly needed. All garments are fully fashioned to minimize waste and reflect the values of slow fashion.

In 2024, Keepers Knitwear was awarded the ‘Certified Crafts’ label by the Belgian Government — an official recognition of the artisanal techniques and craftsmanship that lie at the heart of everything I create.
